🧪✨ The Idea Lab | Product Testing & Founder Feedback w/ Bret, Sunny, & Ridwan

The Idea Lab is an online product testing and feedback session for founders, run by the DareToShift Raleigh-Durham & NC Founders & Investors Club on November 10, 2026 at 6:00 PM. It is aimed at founders with a product, prototype or feature that needs outside opinions, and at people willing to test it.

Founders send in their product along with one specific question they want tested. Participants try each product before the live session. During the event they report what they saw, point out problems and suggest improvements. The session also includes group brainstorming and practical recommendations for next steps. The organisers describe it as light on presentations and heavy on testing. Attendees can join either as a founder submitting a product or as a tester giving feedback.

The product submission deadline is Sunday, November 8 at 6:00 PM EST. Bret Johnson co-hosts and coordinates the session. Only registered participants can see the meeting link, and participation is limited, so the organisers ask people to RSVP early. Anyone who is not yet a member can message Cody on WhatsApp via https://chat.daretoshift.com to get started.
