Applied AI Ethics MonthlyMixer - Where Innovation Meets Responsibility

The Applied AI & Ethics Monthly Mixer is an online networking event from Raleigh Analytics Club for people who build, study, regulate or question AI. It runs on the second Wednesday of every month from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in each attendee's local time, and the next one is on December 9, 2026.

It is not a webinar or a panel, and there are no presentations. Attendees chat on a Slack-style virtual platform, with themed channels, private text or video conversations, and 1-on-1 video calls. The organiser says there are no login hurdles. The event is aimed at AI/ML developers, policy makers and legal experts, data scientists, academics and researchers, ethicists and community leaders, and product leaders.

The platform has these channels:

• general: introductions, announcements and cross-topic talk
• networking: portfolios, white papers, startups and ethical AI tools
• intros: what you work on and why
• help-wanted: asking for or offering guidance on data ethics, fairness or responsible deployment
• industry-room-tech: real-world cases, AI misuse, explainability and bias mitigation
