Data Science Raleigh hosts a session on designing and running agent orchestration in enterprise settings, starting at 2:00 PM on November 12, 2026. Orchestration is the layer that coordinates multiple AI agents across tools, data sources, models, and workflows. The session looks at how that coordination can bring automation gains while raising questions of reliability, governance, observability, and control.
The talk covers assigning roles, managing handoffs, monitoring performance, and enforcing guardrails. The aim is agent systems that grow in scale while keeping trust, security, and human oversight intact.
The session is organised around four topics:
- From agents to systems: how orchestration lets agents, models, tools, and workflows pursue shared business goals together.
- Coordination and handoffs: ways to assign tasks, manage dependencies, resolve conflicts, and keep context across agents.
- Control and observability: how to watch agent behavior, evaluate performance, and step in when workflows fail or produce unexpected results.
- Scaling responsibly: strategies for governing, securing, and expanding agentic systems while preserving accountability and suitable human oversight.
