Weekly Bitcoin Meetup

The Raleigh Bitcoin Meetup is a casual weekly gathering in Raleigh for anyone who wants to talk about bitcoin, with the next one starting at 6:30 PM on December 22, 2026. Newcomers are welcome.

Conversation covers every side of bitcoin, from people interested in it as an investment to those drawn by the principles of sound money economics. The group usually meets at a restaurant and sits at high-top tables near the bar, so people can arrive and leave easily and order food or drinks. Lately between 10 and 20 people have been attending.

No RSVP is needed; attendees simply show up. Photos of the group are not allowed, out of respect for privacy. Members do not ask one another how much bitcoin they hold. The meetup is about Bitcoin specifically, so people whose main interest is another coin are encouraged to start a separate meetup.
