The Raleigh Bitcoin Meetup is a casual weekly gathering in Raleigh for anyone interested in discussing bitcoin, and newcomers are welcome. It starts at 6:30 PM on December 15, 2026.
Conversation covers all aspects of bitcoin, from investing to the principles of sound money economics. The group usually meets at a restaurant, at high-top tables near the bar, so people can come and go easily and order food or drinks. Recent turnout has averaged 10 to 20 people.
No RSVP is needed; people just show up. Photos of the group are not allowed, out of respect for privacy, and attendees are not asked how much bitcoin they hold. The meetup is focused on Bitcoin, so anyone mainly interested in another coin is encouraged to start a separate meetup.
