Weekly Bitcoin Meetup

The Weekly Bitcoin Meetup is a casual gathering in Raleigh for anyone interested in discussing bitcoin, and newcomers are welcome. It starts at 6:30 PM on December 8, 2026.

Conversation covers every side of bitcoin, from investing to the principles of sound money economics. The group usually meets at a restaurant, at high-top tables near the bar, so people can arrive and leave when they like and order food or drinks. Recent turnout has averaged 10 to 20 people. No RSVP is needed; attendees just show up.

Two house rules apply. Photographing the group is not allowed, out of respect for privacy, and attendees are not asked how much bitcoin they hold. The meetup is about Bitcoin specifically, so anyone mainly interested in a different coin is encouraged to start a separate meetup.
