Weekly Bitcoin Meetup

The Weekly Bitcoin Meetup is a casual gathering in Raleigh for anyone interested in talking about bitcoin, and newcomers are welcome. The next session starts at 6:30 PM on November 10, 2026.

Conversation covers every side of bitcoin, from people drawn by the investment angle to those interested in the principles of sound money economics. The group usually meets at a restaurant, at high-top tables near the bar, so people can come and go easily and order food and drinks. No RSVP is needed. Recent turnout has averaged 10 to 20 people.

Photos of the group are not allowed, out of respect for privacy. Attendees are not asked how much bitcoin they hold. The meetup is about Bitcoin specifically, so anyone whose main interest is a different coin is encouraged to start a separate meetup.
