Wednesday - Finger Flicking Billiard Game Social @ Black Bird Brewery

This is a free social game night at Black Bird Brewery in Wake Forest, NC, on Wednesday, December 9, 2026, starting at 6:30 PM, where anyone can learn Crokinole, a finger flicking billiard game, run by Triangle Finger Flicking Billiard Games.

Crokinole comes from the cold north and blends elements of shuffleboard, curling and pool. The organisers say it is simple to pick up, so newcomers do not need to know the rules beforehand. Drinks and possibly some bites are available, and the evening is built around socializing and meeting new people. All are welcome.

Playing costs nothing, but the organisers ask attendees to register on one of their platforms so they can bring enough boards. A short 2-minute tutorial video is available for anyone who wants a preview of how the game works.
