NCREIA Land Development and New Construction Focus Group

This NCREIA focus group is a Zoom workshop on land development and new construction, for people considering a ground-up build or their first development deal. It starts at 6:30 PM on November 10, 2026.

Active builders and developers lead the session, using case studies of real projects to show how a ground-up build moves from finding land to reaching a profit target. The topics are:

• Project walkthroughs: actual costs, timelines, and returns from current projects.
• Land and zoning basics: how to assess raw land and sidestep costly zoning problems.
• Builders and budgets: ways to keep contractors on schedule and within budget.
• Panel questions: attendees can bring questions about their own deals and get direct answers from the panel.
