Go Figure

Go Figure is a weekly drawing class for adults of all experience levels, held in the Gallery Space at Golden Belt Artists space, with a 6:30 PM start on December 10, 2026. Tickets are $15 and the class is capped at 15 people. Tickets and details are at https://artofnickdahlstrom.com/pages/event.

The small class is meant for people who want a slightly more disciplined practice, with room to experiment and to break skills down and build them back up. Sessions vary. Some use one or two long poses, others many short ones. The structure follows the method in Nicolaides' "The Natural Way to Draw," which the host recommends but does not require. Parking is in front of the entrance, and the building has a giant "ARTS" on its side. The host describes the event as new and evolving, and welcomes feedback.

Rules and tips for attendees:

• Attendees must be 18 or over.
• No photography of the model or the space while the event is under way.
• Be respectful to the other artists, the host and the model, and use correct pronouns (ask if unsure). Romantic advances and aggressive actions or remarks are not allowed. Anyone found disrespectful is asked to leave without a refund and may not be invited back.
• Bring your own supplies, meaning something to draw with and something to draw on. Nothing that splashes, squirts or squishes is allowed, because other artists' work hangs on the gallery walls and you must compensate an artist if a piece is defaced.
• A transportable easel is recommended.
