The Wealth of Nations (Adam Smith) is a group discussion of Adam Smith's The Wealth of Nations, held at Panera Bread on November 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM.

The session follows interest in the group's earlier reading of Smith's The Theory of Moral Sentiments. This time the group turns to the opening of Smith's argument on how political economy takes shape. It will also try to connect that argument to the moral framework Smith set out in the earlier book.

Participants who have time should read Book I of The Wealth of Nations, about 220 pages. Those short on time should read Book I, Chapters 1 through 7, about 60 pages. The organiser links the text on Project Gutenberg.
