The Open GBTQ+ Men's Group is a free, confidential, in-person peer group for gay, bisexual, trans, queer and questioning men in the Raleigh area, meeting on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month from 7 to 9 PM in Durham, a few minutes from I-40 and Fayetteville Road.

The group is for men who want to build brotherhood and speak honestly about their lives in a setting without judgement. Members share struggles and joys, learn who they are behind the mask, and connect with men who have similar experiences as well as men who see things differently. The first session listed is December 3, 2026.

It is led by GBTQ+ men from The ManKind Project (MKP), a 40-year-old global non-profit community of men that is non-religious, non-political and inclusive. More information is at MKP.org.

Registration is encouraged but not required. It takes about one minute, is done once only, and is meant to improve safety, enjoyment and communication within the group. Register at https://bk271.infusionsoft.app/app/form/raleigh-gbtq-omg. After registering, you get a confirmation email, and one of the organisers (Bob or a co-leader) phones to answer questions and give you the address. Men who prefer not to register can click to attend on Meetup, and the organisers will send the location and address there.
