Vets to Vets United 5K9 Dog Jog (Cary Chamber of Commerce)

We pair rescue dogs with veterans living with service-connected disabilities like PTSD, TBI, and depression, training and certifying each team as a service dog over a two-year program at no cost to the veteran. On September 26, we're hosting our biggest event of the year, the 5K9 Dog Jog, at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary. It's grown well beyond just a 5K: pony rides, a petting zoo, a DJ, snacks and drinks, games, a vendor village (over 100 vendors signed up!), free dog microchipping, and plenty of activities for the dogs, all set up festival-style.
