Art en Plein Air at Oakwood Cemetery

Art en Plein Air is a free monthly drawing and painting meetup at Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh, held on the first Thursday of each month at 9am, rain or shine, and open to artists of all ages and skill levels.

Program Coordinator and artist Brianna McCormick leads the group. Participants gather at the cemetery office at 9am, then walk together to that day's chosen spot. The sessions include observing and discussing monumental art and the cemetery's flora and fauna, with panoramic views of the city of Raleigh.

Attendees should bring:

• Water
• A chair or blanket
• Their favorite art supplies
