Innovate Carolina OTC: 2026 Celebration of Inventorship (NC Biotechnology Center)

Join Innovate Carolina’s Office of Technology Commercialization on May 13 for its 2026 Celebration of Inventorship, an evening honoring UNC’s inventors and their contributions to research, innovation, and societal impact. The evening will begin with dinner, providing an opportunity to engage with fellow innovators, campus colleagues, and members of the broader innovation community. This year’s celebration will mark the return of UNC’s Inventor of the Year Award, presented for the first time since 2020. The award will be presented to an individual whose significant contributions to invention and entrepreneurship have advanced discovery and strengthened the culture of innovation at UNC. The 2026 Inventor of the Year nominee will serve as the evening’s featured speaker, sharing reflections on their distinguished career and their journey of innovation and entrepreneurship.
